The Techno wheels weigh just under a metric ton. I think the rears are close to 30 pounds each.

The white car on BaT is going to bring serious money. As soon as the listing went up I was sure of it. So many options and in a rare color. Black interior. It's got a lot going for it aside from mileage and from some comments it sounds like it's been "enjoyed" to redline quite a bit.

Sure was, Chris. Making the deal with you and picking the car up was a significant milestone for me - and I get that feeling whenever I think of that week! Thank you for taking such great care of her. Hopefully the next owner continues the enthusiast lineage.

If you look back far enough you’ll see Porsche price endings that are consistent with the car; 911, 964, 993, 996, etc. Just a little Porsche touch added.

The hot action on that auction stopped the moment the seller posted the DME report.

Maxed out on range ones and very recent range number twos. It seems to me that report put a chill on the price.

When I bought mine, I said final offer of 63,996. Mind you, this was two years ago and in Canucks bucks, which was 47,997 USD at the time...

So that’s what happened. I didn’t know why all the excitement disappeared.

Thanks, Dock. In less than 72hr, we have a sale pending. Somebody is getting an excellent car and I can take solace knowing I can find myself back in a fabulous Mezger in the future... hopefully the not-so-didn’t horizon.

In the meantime dealing with these V12 Italian models will keep me busy.

Side effect of the latest sportscar purchasing frenzy: Competent indy Ferrari mechanics have gone from ~3 month wait to [hahahahaahahaha!], especially if you don't have a prior relationship!
