Thanks guys. Just after buying it, I added Coco mats to save the originals and break up the natural brown a bit. I still use the original mats, just very very infrequently.

I think gray looks best on a white 996. Perfect contrast. I'm in the white privilege club as well but I have black interior. Does anyone here have another white 2005 Turbo S? I have never seen one in person or on this forum.

My parents have a 2005 Turbo S Cab that is Carrara White with a black interior. The car has about 12k miles and it is immaculate. The car was originally purchased by Michael Dell and remained in his collection until my parents scooped it up about 6 years ago.

There's a few on the 996 Turbo Facebook group, usually white over black or natural brown. I know of a white over Natural Brown locally (Aero car, too).

I have the Grey interior in my C2, and I do like it. I've broken it up with bits of black, but it's super nice. Much cooler than my Turbo's black interior in the summer.

To be honest, I couldn't care less what somebody says is The correct specs or color combination. But I must say, I do agree with you, I like my white 996 with gray interior added some black. If somebody hates it, I don't care a s**t about it.

I'm at 57K and I drive it often here in Phoenix as we have top down weather for 8 months, then the Summer hits pretty hard.

The 996 GT3 I had and sold in 2019 was this exact color combo. I loved the interior. The natural brown is a dyed leather as opposed to the some of the other leathers that are coated for color. The black pieces break it up nicely. It told myself it will be the last black car I would ever own.

Exactly what I was describing. I forgot to mention the black floor mats.

By “very infrequently”, he means every year for the local All German Car Show. His Turbo S is gorgeous and wins the class trophy every year. And deservedly so.

Hopefully not that infrequent.

What’s with the guy that said he was going to bid until he saw license plate holes in the front bumper. I’d be embarrassed to make such a statement. Bypass an X50 TT because of license plate holes? Guess he never heard of bumper plugs. Me, I was going to bid on this 996 GT1 until I saw it had an air freshener hanging from the mirror.

He is uninformed and too clueless to know I guess.
