Someone wrote about that car today on Jalopnik (http://thegarage.jalopnik.com/why-bu...e-9-1792385313). That was a great article about this car in the Panamera magazine.
I read the Panamera article from June 2015 earlier today. It highlights the repairs, but aside from the long highway trips (which is easier on a car), I'd love to know what their maintenance schedule was. How often they changed the oil and so forth.
They had to replace the turbos a couple of times and a big expense of replacing the rear sub-frame.
In the end, they sold it in 2015 as it needed $10k in repairs and bought a new 991 Turbo S. One of the parts guy at the Porsche dealership bought it at that time. Maybe he is the one selling it now.

Three Wheelin'
My assumption is that the parts guy is now parting with the car, it's probably need 'something' replaced all_the_time @ 590K miles.
Great story, and great life out of a 996 Turbo.

Too good to be true!!
I saw this advert show up on Car Gurus and Autotrader. http://www.centralautodms.com/2003_P...IA_8373206.veh
I knew something was up. $22K for a 1 owner with 17,000 miles.
Called the dealer and they said their website had been hacked. Someone put a bunch of cars on it that they really didn't have. Too bad.

They could easily say "the new secretary typed in a wrong price" and everybody would believe that.
$22K for a 1 owner with 17,000 miles is simply to good to be true - anybody able enough to put such an offer online (even if they never ever heard of Porsche) would be able to find in 2 minutes (using KBB or a simple search on the site they're offering it) that a "normal" price would be in the 40's...

Yes MP blue looks like black if you don't pay close attention.
I find it a gorgeous interior in real life. It just appears to not photograph well. On pictures it looks a lot more purple/red than it really is.

wow ok, I guess photos really bring out the blue/red tint then. I haven't seen one in person, so i was just speculating... do you have pics without flash of your blue interior?
