Just out of curiousity, how many miles were on it when the kit was installed. That was one of the questions i asked when I originally emailed them regarding the car. But when they got back to me, it had already been sold. I'm glad that it went to a fellow RL'er!! Congratulations again!
Thanks ScottKelly911! Like you, the miles initially pushed me away, but the mods/upgrades really made me strongly reconsider, and I'm glad I did. The GT660 kit was installed around 72K, but the actual installation of the majority of parts was done by Vivid. EVOMS did work on it later, and changed some things that they felt suited their kit better. Before I went to check out the car in person, I requested copies of the invoices for all of the work done, and I also spoke with Sam at EVOMS to get his take on the car and also get verification of the "claimed" dyno numbers. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that the claims were backed up. I was, however, disappointed to learn that even with all of the upgrades/modifications that had been done to the car, a short shifter wasn't 1 of them. I also need to sort out the tune, as I live in a completely different climate than AZ, and have slightly "better" gas (93 octane vs 91). I saw 1.5 bar on the dash in cool, 70* weather, which felt great, but made me a bit nervous.

By the way, here is a video of the car at Vivid after the K16 billet install.

I was curious as to how many miles were on the car when the mods were done. Because if the mods were on the car for 50K or more miles, that would lead me to believe the engine was tired, but just under 20K miles on those mods, i'd feel plenty secure in it. These are very robust engines and capable of lasting a very long time, even with these mods so long as they're done right, which I believe your car was done properly. So a big heartfelt congrats. I was really considering it. But I'm really glad it went to a fellow RL'er!! Enjoy in good health

I have the opportunity to purchase a 03' 996TT X50 Silver/Black w/ minimal options with very low miles less than 10,000. The seller is asking in the mid $60's. Its a lightly optioned car besides the X50. I've been looking for a while and this is without a doubt the cleanest (cosmetically) of the dozen or so cars I've looked at. It's pristine inside and out. Downside is that the car has no maintenance records. It has a clean carfax from with two prior owners from a dry warm climate state. Thoughts?

I could see this being a mid $50s car...not mid 60s. He's asking all the money though, which of course is the seller's right.

Maybe high 50s if you can't live without it? How long has it been on the market?

I dno if this one has been posted. Its at my local dealer and i drove it last month. Not in the market yet but i did like it. Needed brakes though and i feel the price is high. Carfax says accident, dealer says fender bender.

I'd bet if he had an offer for over $60K from a dealer he'd have already taken it. and btw, how is a dealer going to make money on this car paying $60-$62K?

If you're looking for a car you can drive and put some miles on, this probably isn't it, not at $60K. I'm not saying it's not worth $60K as 10K mile X50 garage queens are pretty rare, but I'd rather spend $10K less and buy something more useable.

How old are the tires btw? If they're 6 years or older, I would not recommend any spirited driving on them, so factor that in if you are going to make an offer.

Mid $60's is crazy for a 03 996TT. Are you looking for a garage queen? You can get a nice 997 Turbo in the 30k mileage range for that money.
