Or use something like VirtualBox (free), VMWare Fusion, or Parallels (both paid for) to run windows in a VM. That's how I run mine though it is slow since I don't have enough memory to let it use.

Has anyone looked at this one?

2002 Porsche 911 Twin Turbo - $33000 (Clifton, VA)
http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/n...375961054.html

It has been listed for a while. I remember contacting the owner back in November and he said "it's all good" and when I asked for more details he said "it's all good" - so that was definitely a warning sign. I would likely want to take off the front spoiler and find some turbo twists to return it closer to stock.

Thoughts?

Ask for a vin. I would much rather pay 10k more and get a lower mile well documented car.

I agree however $30-35K is what I'm prepared to spend right now. It's a 3rd car so not worried too much about it being a reliable daily, but obviously don't want a lemon. The VIN was posted in a pic: WP0AB29942S685509 anyone have easy VIN checking access before I run a report?

Run a carfax, if your actively looking it would pay to set it up so you can run a few= that's what I did.

I am pretty sure this is some kind of scam. The same car (at least it looked exactly the same) was posted a few months ago and when I called the dealership they had no idea who had posted the vehicle and they didnt have it in inventory. If you check JPL Auto Empire (the supposed dealer) it doesnt show on their website.

I believe this last one has a salvage title, recall seeing it listed on eBay.

Price seems like a scam, you know what they say, if it's too good to be true, it probably is.

Sometimes car gurus.com prices are wrong. If this dealer actually has the car for sale, I'll bet they are actually asking a higher price.
