seanl - Thanks for the thorough report. Sounds like a solid car with a few cosmetic issues but overall nice.

cardsrule - Good luck with your sale. That's a very unique car and you've put a lot of work into it. For the buyer who is looking for something that stands out in a crowd and intends to actually drive it (as opposed to looking for a garage queen), it will make a great car. Good luck also with the 914-6 project!

No problem, my pleasure indeed.

Their seal gray 02 w/ 60K miles was much, much cleaner. Nicely equipped with sport seats too. The interior is light gray, which doesn't age as well as black in my opinion. Still, was in overall great shape and not dripping in carbon trim.

The paint was in excellent shape all around with very few blemishes. Brandy new front lip spoiler. Very comparable condition to my 47K mile car. Headlights look good, but not great, not as good as the '01 or mine.

The only thing I could find needing attention were the 2003 era Michelins. Yikes, that's a recipe for disaster. Car was bone stock...asking price 45,700. Maybe a little high but not unreasonable for a clean 2 owner stocker with nice seats.

Cars Dawydiak seems to have pretty nice cars for market correct prices...

My car goes in for a PPI on Monday.

If all goes as planned, I'll have some too.

On the early 2001 models, they had those goofy bumperettes. I think it is no big deal to remove them.

I've seen the opposite, they are very hard to remove without having to re-finish the front bumper.

Interestingly enough, my friend just bought a very early white 2001 Turbo from 6speed online and it doesn't have the front bumperettes.

and I mean *early* I recall seeing a 4/00 build date on the door sticker...

^ I saw that second one on ebay yesterday. I almost included it in The Prestige Thread, but it's priced way too reasonably. To me, that represents where the top end of the market actually resides, once you eliminate the unrealistic sellers.
