Honestly Dave's system is so mechanically superior to the OEM it almost makes sense to install the eRams as a way to preserve the the still functioning OEM system for a future "back to stock" retrofitting of the car is sold on.
So far mine has worked flawlessly. I am heading to the track next week so that will be a big test.

Just installed the kit! Absolutely amazing! I've had the car for 2 years and it's the first time the spoiler has actually deployed! This has to be the best mod ever! Excellent fit! Smooth operation and install was a snap, even for the mechanically and electronically challenged!

Have to pay tribute to a recent installer of my eRam kit. Wei figured out an elegant way of mounting the "eBox" module (fools the ECU up/down warning) behind the plastic shroud above the fan and came up with a more direct plug 'n play approach for the wiring. I'm adopting his technique in my instruction set. Thanks Wei!

The eRams performed flawlessly for three hard days at Palmer Motorsports Park and the system continues to work without a single issue.

I must give KUDOS to David. I have been Beta testing the 4" eRam's for him since the end of March. They have worked flawlessly. The install is very straight forward, as is the wiring (JUST READ HIS DIRECTIONS AND FOLLOW THEM). I am right now running the larger prototype light cancelation box which also works perfectly. Everyone who see's the car with the wing up either just says it looks amazing.....or if they know these cars they ask which wing that is. Just having the factory bad higher makes them think it is a different wing. I am waiting until next week to put my new wing on, and then I can post some pictures. It really does transform the car for me. Now it works like it was suppose to, only better, and it looks amazing. David has been wonderful to work with too, and the hours he put into this, especially not the logic/wiring side, has been truly spectacular.
The only issue I had was purely self induced....I did not read his directions carefully (I skimmed them, they are VERY clear) and needed to run to the store for more connectors.

Thanks John, Chris and Carlo! Very kind words for the effort that went into this, but you know (as do all the beta testers, early adopters and recent buyers) that this was a labor of love. I've been a Porsche nut for nearly 40 years. I designed the eRam kit for my car after 2 back to back hydraulic system failures, but quickly realized other turbo owners wanted to replace the hydraulics with something better and more reliable, much less easy to work on. I've never started a business or sold anything. It has been a fun journey, and I've learned so much. I hired a web designer yesterday - I can't wait to show off my own website. I've heard from a lot of 997 turbo owners - asking when they can get the eRam kit. I'm working with a great guy in Oklahoma - offered to help me. There is nothing wrong with his hydraulic system. I sent him half a kit, and he tore apart his system to measure, modify and fit some prototype parts. It really helped me to come up with a new modification that will work on both models. He doesn't want a thing in return (but I will send him a free kit). This is what amazes me. So many turbo owners have helped me out of the goodness of their hearts and have been willing to try or adapt various upgrades and provide valuable suggestions. One customer even developed a google website store for me (ok, he works for google). It has just been fantastic. Everyone I've talked to is friendly and excited to see this product launch. I don't know how to adequately thank these first kit buyers for their support and help. They know who they are - they were there with me from kit #1. Now with racetrack feedback, I am gaining even more confidence in the design - which is pretty robust. Here are a couple of recent pictures of a tasty white Turbo on the track - 4" eRam kit. I'll let the owner take credit if he wishes...

Just finished reading this thread and was impressed with how members come together to find better solutions to this issue.
Will keep this in mind when mine eventually needs replacing (...or maybe before since it adds a subtle element of refinement and personalization.)

dave, not having been an early adopter has me feeling a bit sheepish, and you've been more than accommodating and stellar with your replies to my incessant questions throughout your r&d process.
i have but one last question my friend. is there ANY reason you can imagine or anticipate, that the 4" kit would not be fully functional with my strosek wing? ( made outa 'glas and bolt on to existing setup, same )
because THAT raised up to 4"/ is gonna look badda**
TIA and congrats on the response from all, and your soon to be viable business concern! you deserve it.

yes, thanks! agree, I have mine installed and its far lighter than the stocker. would really appreciate seeing some pics! are you going with the 4" rise?? that's what i'll be getting once I do. it should look phenomenal once "up".

I'm struggling to get my website launched, one more hurdle... The wife is my product photographer, (and CBO, Chief Bubble-Wrap Officer) and she needs to get the final shots of the various size eRam kits to our web designer. Fingers crossed for being about a week out.
