I can help you out NOW Carlo! Let's say we are beyond beta testing, and do have pre-launch kits available at a little discount while we put the finishing touches on the website, etc. What extension kit are you thinking about, factory, 3" or 4" extension? I find 4" works nicely up in the clean air at speed. I'll send you a PM with further info about the eRam kit!

A picky point but I would prefer the rams have a more stock appearance, also are any modifications needed= could oem set be up put back into service if wanted.

Funny you should mention it Randy; I suggest in the installation instructions that the old hydraulic system be kept so it goes with the car if ever sold. That way the owner can state that the OEM system is available for reinstall. Why on earth someone would want to put a complicated and broken system back in is questionable, but the provenance and originality of these cars usually equates to a higher sale price. Personally I prefer functionality (form follows function...) Once the new kit is installed, nobody will want to re-install the old one - it is so much simpler and easier to put in or take out. The OEM system is a pain.

I wont bore you with the many examples of originality over function and the way many individual enthusiasts and groups are endeared to them as I know you have that knowledge. I was asking as I do not believe in destroying mounting points etc or doing cosmetic damage to a car unless absolutely necessary. I give you a lot of credit for bringing this to market and after I see how it pans out will definitely consider it. As I've said many times all Turbos eventually become desired and considering the way these cars are abused like non other it will be rare to see a clean stock car in 10 years.

I hear you.

On this upgrade, simply unbolt the old 3 piece set, bolt in the new 2 piece kit. That simple. Here are some fun pictures: https://rennlist.com/g/album/4000820

great pics dave. i think the sturdier look of them ( form following function again? ) is a stark contrast to the often flaccid and even effete design of the oem. though i get the flowing lines bit too. i also understand those that would prefer to retain their oem look without any changes whether owing to aesthetic concerns or resale value. valid points all. but i have no doubt looking at them your setup will be the more robust over time, and would look especially good with those of us that do run an aftermarket wing.

the strosek blade with a 4" lift is a pic i would love to see. lookin really good man. nicely done.

i would also like if possible a confidential quote if/once you get that up/down feature sorted! thx.

Looks good Dave.

I wonder how the OEM's will store over time with the leaking issues etc. . Having said that, what is your warranty?

You mention 4", cleaner air etc. Did you do wind tunnel tests? I assume Porsche did. Why did they choose the height they did?

Good questions. No wind tunnel tests, don't know anybody with one. ;o) Did some high speed track work though. The 4" eRam kit gets the wing up higher and compares in height to the GT2, GT3 and GT4 wings. Did you know the Cabrio wing is higher than the coupe? That was due no doubt to disturbed air from the cabrio top with the wing in the (standard coupe's) 2.4" extended height. Porsche had to get the wing up higher. But for them, getting higher was a trade off on hydraulic ram length, available room in the engine bay with the lid shut, more hydraulic fluid (longer cylinders in the power-pack (?), etc.

not sure what you mean exactly, but the driver can lower the wing to whatever height chosen. That said we have 2", 3" and 4" kits out there installed. Hoping to ship a couple to New Zealand soon for a couple of 997 turbos!
