Default Beta Testers Needed for Electric Spoiler Rams

I've designed and made a bolt in kit that replaces the troublesome OEM hydraulic system on the rear spoiler. Plug and play, same function as the factory system. Options to go higher when deployed. I'd like 4 more beta testers before I sell the kit on the open market. The offer is that I will refund 30% of the kit price after you or your mechanic installs the kit and you send me pictures, feedback, etc. Install takes about 1 hour.

PM me if interested for more details on being a beta tester and trying the electric ram kit out.

I will be buying one of these from you when the kit is available. Can you provide some specifics and pictures or is it still too early. What are you anticipating charging for the kit?

dave, great to see you bring this to market. though my spoiler is still operable ( thankfully ) can you elaborate on how it still has the "same function as factory system"?

i ask as i have been holding tampasbr@ ebay's fixed wink kit in a a usps box since i bought it years ago. it simply fixes the wing "up". that ain't gonna fly.

Thanks for the responses!

I've PMed Ck986 and ttthansen.

Mark, the kit has "fluid-free" electrical rams instead of hydraulic rams. Dash switch is fully functional, as is the "up at 75 MPH, down at 35 MPH" functionality. I have 3 heights available between 2" and 4" lift. My goal was to offer a better solution than the static tubes like yours in the USPS box or the factory's trouble prone hydraulics, or even giving up the functional wing for an aftermarket lid with fixed wing.

I have been a fly on the wall, so to speak, as Dave has gone through his design and building process. There has been a tremendous amount of thought, effort, and time that has gone into this system. This is really what should have been on the 996TT's from the beginning. I am certain several of you out there share my frustrations with the OEM hydraulic system.
Dave has his new system installed on his 996TT and I bought the next system he had available. Unfortunately for me, my 996TT is in heated storage until we thaw out here in MI. I will be installing this system as soon as I get my Porsche back in the Spring.

All,
Thanks so much for the kind words! A few owners with dead or leaking rams have signed on. They have also seen the wing in action on YouTube! Once I have all 6 beta testers signed on, I'll put up some pictures.

Good luck Dave, sounds like a great alternative to hydraulics.

video is private. Depending on price, I might be interested in beta testing it. VA should be thawed out and salt free in a few weeks so I could start testing soon.
