Anybody have a spare Lid Wiring Harness laying about? I'd be interested in buying it. :-)

No More eBox! Finally have a new design for the warning cancellation module. A small waterproof electronic circuit board the size of a dime. I'm offering it to all who purchased an eRam kit for a modest price. Send me an email if you want to upgrade! Oh yeah, and... NO MORE HYDRAULICS!

Dave can you set any wing height you want with the new solid state controller?

Was holding off to respond, as I am not 100% sure. Want to test, but my TT is in for coolant pipe welding. I have not had to put a dime into this car for any sort of failure (except the hydraulic wing lift was shot when I bought it), so all spending has only been for improvements!
Back to your question; with the wing already up, the MicroModule (or eBox) will allow the down rocker switch to be "short pressed" and the wing stays at the new height, but I've been told the ECU will finish running it down after a certain time delay? Also, adjusting the wing down with the SuperFast option will be difficult as it is so fast.
Finally, had to share this post on 6Speed, eRam owners do get passionate (warning; 200 MPH reference): http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/9...or-review.html

Another milestone! We filed a utility patent for the eRam system. Be interesting to see how long it takes the patent office to work through this one. I've had patents that took 3 years to issue.

Looking for a spare set (or even just one) 1/4 Turn twist lock bolts used to secure the rear wing. Borrow, purchase or what have you. Want to make some of these up for 996 Turbo owners. They look a lot like a part that can be purchased online, like a Dzus fastner. OEM part looks like this:

I have Dave's complete system with the warning cancellation module in now for about a week or two. Works perfectly. I am still trying to get used to not having that annoying warning come up!

I have been using Dave's system for more than a year now. Zero problems.

Default Update

Update: We have come a long way since this post was created! I had to share a note from an independent Porsche shop when asked if they would like to be part of our Preferred Shop program: "We are most certainly interested in selling your product. (The hydraulic ram mechanism) is the biggest nightmare I deal with, they never seem to work right after rebuilds and customers laugh at the price of OEM replacements. Let me know what you need from me to sign us up."

It's funny to look back at this thread with over 30K views. Shortly after the 996 Turbo eRam kit, we developed a 997 eRam kit. Now we are working to finish up the first Carrera GT eRam kit. What a short, interesting trip it's been... =)
Details on this development are on our Facebook page.

Default 996T Spoiler Erams

Dave

I found this thread the other day and was wondering where this E-ram conversion stands? My hydraulic system is leaking (no surprise) and am thinking of converting if it is available.

Thanks

Yep, available, 4 extension heights now from the economical 2" to radical 4.75". Lots of pictures and info on our website, see signature below.
