Very pleased customer here, communication and HW was perfect. Instructions were detailed and I completed the job in the aloted time, would highly recommend if you are leaking or interested in an electric alternative. I chose the standard speed, 3" lift
Dave, if you have an improved power source, I'd be interested in updates-- Thanks! KH

thanks for that I have never been sure whether or not Dave had incorporated that up down feature into the final product I know that it's been a work in progress. it's nice to hear that it's been incorporated into a every set now turns the trick now. it's just a matter of my needing it to justify the expense but I can't wait I'm sure it must be great.

Mark, I've reached out to the early beta testers, anyone wanting a small box of electrical magic can have one. I do need a few mA of power during operation to run a set of delay timers. O
Easiest place to tie in was the +12V stud next to the oil filter. Any other ideas on where to pick up +12V in the engine bay? Must be either always hot, or switched on with key.

^ waaay over my head.
the up/down functionality needs to access an as yet unavailable ( as it was never needed? ) 12v power source not available as car is configured oem, as the power that "ran" the pump for the old hydraulics are built into the pre-existing wire harness(?!).
if any of this is so, then how do you power the up/down functionality at speed? i am so confused. perhaps i am asking too many question. i apologize, truly.

eRams work fine with the original hydraulic motor electric connections. The power source I need is for the electronics that fool the ECU signal and prevent the dash warning. It's really quite simple. Currently have a connector tied into the +12V stud next to the oil filter as a power source. Seems to me there has to be an alternate source somewhere in the back. In fact the 997 turbo did away with the stud. Currently looking for power on that model as well.

understood. thanks. following this with great interest. i personally just really want oem functionality up/down, no dash lights and i realize thats the end goal. thx again. although the less and less my car becomes capable of ever being "stock" the fixed wing at 4" becomes increasingly the wiser choice. whether it goes up/down with a button? or not at all, for that matter.

I just did my last track days for the year last weekend. It was freezing cold, literally, but still great fun. I have started cleaning up the Turbo inside and out for winter storage. Yes, bummer.

Thanks for the reply. Glad to know I have the most up to date electronics and they continue to work perfectly. I love my eRam kit.
