Beta Testers Needed for Electric Spoiler Rams
#17
if I'm not mistaken, a "beta tester" isn't "buying" it per se. the mfg'r ( dave ) is asking someone or others to test it real world. whether that becomes a "sale" is a bit later in the process. but perhaps dave will clarify.

how does the weight compare to the stock hydraulic system? Also do you think it can withstand over 150 mph and wind?
sounds like a great idea btw...good luck and hope it works out great.

Hi All, thanks so much for the emails and inquiries. I've responded to everyone that has PMed, emailed or posted. Lots of interest! I may have a 997 TT candidate as well. I believe it is the same hydraulic system used all the way through 997.2 TT. But I'm told the rams may have a different part number for cabrio vs. coupe.

Dave, first, thanks for putting the time and energy into this.
I think the one question people are asking that has gone unanswered is the potential price range.
At the $800 to $1000 mark, I think you'd find a lot of interest. In the $2000 area, maybe not so much.
just my guess.

Once again, I wish to thank everyone that contacted me asking about the eRam kit or being a beta tester. At this time beta testing is closed. I'll be rolling out the product once all the beta testers are up and running and show positive results. Stay tuned...

that makes prefect sense to me. he's surely not in it for the money, and i think from what i understand it'll be a perfectly viable alternative to the oem fix or if one is past the point where re-bleed(s) help. thankfully i'm not there ( yet??!) but i sure dont want to use that fixed wing kit i bought out of panic pre-bleed.
i salute and support his endeavor, whether an ultimate eventual buyer or not.
i forgot you cant just post stuff for sale.
