If you are using cat bypass pipes it's easy. You don't need to remove anything, there is plenty of room. With cats it would be a bit higher but with pipes, no problemo. Get a few 1/4 wobblys and various extensions Mount everything loosely and then tighten progressively all the way around. Maybe an hour taking your time with the car on a lift or Quickjack..
And pop those friggin 980s in there and quit looking at em....

For the 980s, it is most certainly going into the shop... I think that is well beyond my skill level and the risk of something going wrong (read:expensive) is high.
Still waiting on the tool from Tial, thought it would be here this week, it wasn't; pretty sure I can manage that swap as the 980s are on the bench. I also need the 3.8 FPR, which I was going to pick up when I take the 991 in for an oil change in the next week or so. Not sure when the Markski elbow will be back from the coater, they said maybe the week after next, which seems to align with the shop as the guy who works on my car is into a fairly major engine swap at the moment.
Come to think of it, if I am going to drop the engine this year and get the 980s on, I should be patient and do the exhaust only once. Sam, and Marek, were saying that the swapping of injectors is much easier with the engine out, and I noticed today that in 440kms, I am down a bar on my engine oil indicator, so my passenger side turbo is still leaking away.
Patience is not over rated.

Yes, you wanna drop the engine to do injectors. I can’t imagine doing it with motor in the car although some have done it. Cheers!

Gotcha. I thought you had already swapped the fittings. I never understood why Tial made the fitting with 7 sides requiring a custom tool which they have to send to everyone. They created a lot of hassle for themselves. If you already have a 5.0 bar FPR installed you should see if your tuner can tune with that. A 5.0 bar is actually better as it will give you better fuel atomization and greater fueling margins. All Porsche Motorsport applications use a 5.0 bar but 3.8 will naturally work also.

Yes, wasn't sure, that's not bad for half a mile.
