I'm booked into my local OPC ( Official Porsche Center ) for a free health check in the morning, I'll wait and see what the report says. I quite enjoy getting under it with a Tech' and seeing what's going on. Looking forward to driving her too.

Both dealerships in central Scotland are owned by Penske, actually quite a few of them in the UK. Does he have a lion share in the States too?

I changed the air filter and the fuel filter just for good measure. I bought the car used with 17,500 miles and couldn't find documentation that it was done, so I wanted to start with everything fresh.
Man, these cars are a pain to work on!!
I was able to get the air box off, and the fuel filter disconnected pretty easily, but it took me about 1/2 hr to finally wrestle the fuel filter out of there!!! Thankfully the new one went in a little easier.

Just had the Health check today as well at my OPC in Newcastle .
Includes a Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche .
Nice opportunity to talk to the staff at a quiet time and get a couple of minor
Issues looked at and order a few bits and bobs from the parts department .

I removed and painted my rocker panels with wurths satin trim paint. One had a crack and needed plastic welding. Eight dollars for a HF welder and about a half hour later I was all done. I sanded it down and sprayed about six light coats. I also repaired two of the plastic clips as the plastic appeared weak. I hope it holds for a few years because it looks good as new. I wish I had some bondo for the welded area as I would have probably had a slightly better result, but it's in the wheel well and not very noticeable.

I'm going to try spraying the bumper grill inserts, air ducts, apron, windshield cowl, and bumperettes. I get tired of using back to black so will slowly paint and see how long it lasts.

Removed the Techart exhaust and installed a stock system. Will see if I can hear my wife next time she rides in it (no smart *** remarks)!

Washed and vacuumed after returning from a 2900 mile road trip. These are awesome cars for road trips. 2900 miles, not a single problem, used about a qt. of oil.

Removed the alternator and replaced the regulator after I broke down due the battery suddenly stopping charging. All back in and working saving shed load of money.
