FWIW, on a tip/auto, you can run a bigger turbo with good results...turbos love a torque converter ...

Yea, if it's a TIP a big turbo would be a lot of fun. A single gtxx on a built motor w/ a built tip trans would be a fun daily/street car.

Had the 997.2 GT2RS IC's installed today, and then didn't get to drive it because of a Lotus Club drive. Instead, tomorrow!

Last track day of the season. Eagerly awaiting Ohlins to come back so I can refresh suspension in time for next season!

Just done a boost leak check, drops around 4 psi in 20 seconds. Sounds like a leak around the drivers side intercooler, needs the bumper off to find it… gggrrrrr

4psi in 20 seconds isn't bad. The sound you hear near the intercooler is probably from the evap purge valve that hooks up to the intake pipe right in front of the driver side turbo.

thanks. When I say drivers side I’m U.K. so the right hand side looking from the rear. Is this still this valve or is there something else in the r/h side area? The leak seems to stop at 15psi too so only leaks at higher pressure. I guess its still worth chasing it down though?
