so far it's a decent combo. pss front X ps2 rears. pushed them hard in twists and they should be just fine. i could swear the pss doesn't fill the wheel well the same as the ps2's but they are same size and cirumference. totally confused by that revelation lol

had five door/fender dings removed in an hour today from my local paintless dent removal guy. even was able to remove one up the hood under one of the wiper blades without even messing up my wrap.

all in all a great 200$ spend lol

I took the old Alcons off and put GT3 350mm discs back on.

I used one of Edd Chinas (from Wheeler Dealers here in the UK) tricks, hanging the caliper up using a wire coat hanger.

If you put GT3 discs on your TT then they are the wrong offset and not properly centered within the caliper. They are off by 1.5mm. You probably put on 350TT discs. It's amazing how much corrosion all UK cars are subjected to. We get pretty spoiled here in most parts of the US.

^^^that looks naaaassty. east coast or UK weather lol.

ok so today i will re-install my custom brake ducting hoses from my custom circular "holes" in the bumper fascia to the inside wheels to keep my faded reddish/pinkish calipers cool, as i'd like to keep what remains of the porsche lettering on them LOL.

also (1) r&r my new pass side door latch so that my window won't open and then go right back up while door is open. geez, these window peculiarities bug the sh*t outa me.. when they don't work right. which is about 25% of the time lol. still luckily a cheap fix.

then i'm going to stare at my new coolant expansion tank ( but i'll probably leave that sitting on the shelf since i don't feel like tackling it today ) that enjoys a very small upper reservoir crack in the plastic which allows a bit of seepage BUT only if i'm parked at such an angle as to have the max fluid level rest near the crack. i know, yet another highly scientific diagnosis.

such is the purview of a driveway porsche novitiate

it's a good thing i have little else to do but drive and fix my porsche lol. they do require some daily maintenance... at least at 120k

Doubt I'll even remember how to drive. You'll have to go easy on me on your home turf...at least the first few minutes.

The price you have to pay when you run it all year round in Scotland. As it gets older I might start putting it off the road in the winter and wet weather, I just love it so much right now I can't stop driving it. I'm sure she's got another European road trip in her in the next few years.
