Installed my new Lloyd's mats and new plastic hood latch cowl. I am replacing some of the plastic components and gaskets as the car lived in Arizona for much of its life and they have faded or cracked to some extent. I also received my new handbrake in the mail. Now I'm just waiting for my body colored center console and shifter and I'm almost done.


By any chance does anyone know the part number or where to get the headlight gaskets from? I can't seem to find any mention of them anywhere.

Hey, we come and go. Kinda funny to think what I picked up for probably less than what my 150K 993 4S is worth in today's irrational air cooled market........

Oh, I did so something to the Turbo yesterday--given the insanity of the fiber optic audio system I went total cheap *** and installed the FM modulator I pulled out of my F350 several years ago so I could get my satellite receiver in and escape the horror of radio. Was a much more relaxing drive home yesterday, and back to the shop this AM.........

agreed, incredible that my 993 coupe would outvalue my current obsession..but i *almost* get it.

so the 5+hours spent under it today, holding flashlights mostly
only to find after opening her up for the rear main seal replacement and clutch master slave that of COURSE my clutch plates were almost toast and indeed my thinking i could get in out and do all that without replacing the clutch was folly lol. and come to find my trans mount has all but crumbled, but i suspected that was toast when i changed out my motor mounts last year,..but oh well, gee..

something to do next saturday like deja vu all over again since i'll have the new clutch parts which i SHOULDA had!.. but man, i love this car

did i mention my shiny new RAID 340mm wheel? ..it's RAD! ( sorry ha ) don't know why i waited to do THAT!

Last week did the transmission mount and RSS engine mounts, happy camper here. Saw an oil leak I will have to address later this week. Emotional roller coaster, 79 degrees yesterday, snow tomorrow
