Okay, so here is mine! I don't even have my car yet!! I had the SSK put in and had them do the PSS-10. My buddy saw my car and said it looks like a totally different Seal Grey/Black '02. Picking up my dream tomorrow. He told me there were several guys looking at my car wanting to buy it! Over my dead body! Tomorrow is going to be a great day!!

I removed a set a of 997 GT3 seats that were great in my new 996TT but they simply weren't right in this car for me. I'm looking for a set of mint Graphite Grey sport seats for 996 if anyone is looking to sell a set then pm or email me at newnode@mac.com

Love,

Al (Seatless in Chicago)

Yes, it also have an integrated flip out upholder in addition to increased space and comfort. I'm probably going to sell it if anyone is interested.

Washed/waxed it. Bought a front lip off of EBay. Met the head DE guy of my local club and he drove my car for me like it should have always been driven. I was screaming like a little school girl in the passenger seat. I love that car! Nothing like a turbo!

Did you get the regular lip or the aero kit one?

Boy can I relate to this!! I took my good friend out for a ride and he was blown away by everything that this 11 year old car has to offer. He could not stop talking about the performance. He took me for a ride in his Limited edition Shelby Cobra wide body mustang with 800 HP. This car is just plain wicked! Sure brute force! He likes my TT better because it is so refined. One thing I noticed about the Cobra.... Man does it roar!

Over the weekend my wife wanted to ride in the car for the 5th time in about 7 years after a good washing. She was amazed about all the stuff in the car that she forgot that came "standard equipment"

Installed the transmission Poly inserts from Function First.

a bit less vibration at idle, a little more precise shift feel. I was stuck in some stop and go traffic, possibly a little more NVH transmitted into the passenger compartment, but nothing negative, IMO.

My original trans mount bushings were in good shape, as were the motor mounts. 996Turbo has 60K miles, X73 suspension and 235/40, 315/30 tires .
