I purchased this 996tt x50 out of California recently. It has a really nice build sheet that listed at almost $159,000! When i got the car last month it had a europipe and bilstein pss10 suspension but i could’t get it into my driveway because the ride height was just to low. I wanted to do some preventative maintenance to the car and although it only had 22k miles, i decided to have Matrix Integrated in Portland, OR take a look.
We ended up doing an oil service, coolant flush, plugs, and coils. It was noted that the left front bilstein was seeping fluid and we decided to change out to ohlins road and track. I have ohlins on an r100gspd motorcycle and i have always thought they were the best. The ohlins transformed the car.
Big thumbs up to Logan and the team at Matrix Integrated. They are extremely knowledgable And have been absolutely great to work with. 👍🏻
Nice! Can you please expound on Ohlins R&T vs PSS10 comparison/transformation for street use? Having experienced Ohlins in an open wheel race car and a motorcycle, I’m thinking about doing a similar change (to Ohlins R&T from PSS9).
Replaced my tow hook that got scratched when someone backed in to my bumper. GEICO bought me a new one. New renline one is nicer than my 3 rear old renline.
The carbon is nice but not really my style, plus its tradition for me to refresh the shift **** for each car I get.
The CF **** may be up for sale if anyone wants it. Next up is the ebrake handle which is also CF.
That little spec of carbon certainly didn't work well in that interior scheme.
