Here is another angle. Actually, the added down force increases stability at high speed.

Not really, only privately. We have full use of a private track for exhaust development / testing and I run it there for fun, sometimes with friends with other cars (like below) or customers we are working with on new exhaust development...I just do some laps every once in a while. Purely recreational.

I'm not usually a huge fan of the 7TT intakes on the 6TT, but they go perfectly w/ the GT2 front. Car looks awesome.
I finally got mine back on the road today after almost 4 months of downtime (refinished + rebuilt brake calipers, new engine + trans mounts, new TB seal, cleaned radiators, new tires). No, it shouldn't have taken me 4 months but what are you gonna do.
It's nice to have her back.
Only saw 0.6 bar on my test drive, though, so I suspect I have a boost leak.

No, not OEM, but it has the OEM hardware for angle adjustment. It's from Precision Porsche.

Talking about GT2 wings, I have a couple of OEM 996GT2 wings / decklid at home collecting dust with complete hardware. No replicas, the real McCoys in mint condition, not a single scratch or mark. One of the GT2 wings is the standard OEM fiberglass wing while the Uber rare carbon wing is finished in factory clear coat and is brand new. Decklids Lapis Blau. Might be persuaded to part with them but they do make cool wall art on the other hand.

I could be interested in the carbon one... what are you thinking on price?

With that said, I do have a 3rd OEM GT2 wing (the fiberglass version) which I would be willing to part with for $1900 as I do not have another OEM GT2 decklid to pair it with. It's arctic silber, again, perfect condition. I would imagine it could be paired with a replica decklid if someone wanted a 50/50 OEM/replica set up.

Well, so I just checked the latest pricing from Porsche on the whole decklid and carbon wing assembly. It retails close to $25K and change with all the bits and pieces which is nuts. Wholesale now is right at $17K with special order from Germany. In light of that, I think I would need somewhere around $13-14K to even consider it since it's brand new but I doubt that makes sense for anyone. I think I'll just keep it as the prices on these things just keep going up because they are so rare now. Only a few years ago the whole set up was almost half of what it is today. All the little supporting bit and pieces are what is crazy expensive. Just the little plastic inlet covers and the internal plastic ducts are almost $2500 for the four. Porsche price madness...

fitment was very good, but there was a fair amount of prep required to achieve a proper paint finish and uniform clearance around the four sides of the lid. My shop has a lot of experience with fiberglass and did a great job. I think with any fiberglass GT2 decklid and wing there will be work involved to get it just right.
