Installed Powerflex Transmission mount inserts. Dirt Cheap, easy and very minimal NVH. No brainer. Will see if it helps with my occasional 2-3 shift difficulties.

Are you allowing the assist spring to align the shifter under the 3rd gear gate before pushing forward into 3rd gear?

I stuck with with Porsche's 75w90, 99991754600.

Nice! After installing mine I noticed a good amount of slop being gone when jumping on and off throttle under high torque situations, and that was with a good 997 mount. Can’t imagine how some of these cars that are running on completely shot 996 mounts feel.

Also, as you said, just a bit of tranny noise can now be heard with the powerflex inserts. Great bang for the buck!

350mm 997 turbo rotors and Hawk HPS performance street pads. Also, swapped out the Kline 76mm with 100 cells to a stainless Unobtainium catless exhaust with anti drone tubes. Damn thing sounds like a beast now.

Installed tail lights with *no lens cracks!* I feel far less scruffy.

Detail / cleaned inside and out. Mole skinned the entire exterior and the followed up with a coat of JetSeal. Cleaned and sealed all black plastic & rubber. I feel like I'm ready for a nice Cali summer now.

I also detailed the interior of the Cayenne and changed the front brake pads on the Mustang. I'd say it was a good day.

Picked her up from an alignment + road force balance + new front LCAs, and hit 28,000 on the way back in to work.

Not tonight, but last night. Hit "996" on the odomometer again. I like Hybridporky's odometer better though.

I know! And believe it or not, it happens once every one thousand miles! If I'm really fortunate, I'll experience it at least another 100 times, but under higher boost.
It truly is AMAZING!

This is an easy one, destroyed the black lip on the front bumper. This is number 4 on the replacements.

I am on #3. i noticed that there are 2 different E-bay lips. one that has free shipping and one with $20 shipping. The parts both fit the same but the one with free shipping has a mat slightly dimpled finish (not ideal for painting) that is the the one i am replacing, the frankenspoiler. The one i just got ($20 shipping) has a very smooth finish.

Do you both face difficult elevation changes on turn-ins during your normal driving?
