Installed color matched rear bumper wart things.... Huge thank you to Eric at bumper plugs.. I've talked to a local body shop guy about color matching a GT2 or RUF bumper and they told me Meridian Metallic is going to be difficult to match.. Eric got it dead on without even seeing the car, from across the country
Anyway, car is dirty, it's been sitting in my warehouse spot for a few weeks and now has the nasty rain and dust mix so pardon the lack of cleanliness..

Finally got around to washing the car after having graphics removed. Was quite pleased to see that my nice indoor car cover left over from previously owned GT3 RS fits perfectly.

Changed the oil. Step one toward hibernation.

Burning Brakes
Decided yesterday that I'm keeping my car - no longer on the market.
Decided today to go back to stock 18" Hollow Spokes. The Champion 19s look great, but I just can't live on L.A. streets with 315/25 tires.

Funny I've been considering the same thing but for different reasons. I have Champion 19's also... with 315/25's. Funny.

Just got the car relatively recently.
- got on it a little last week and discovered that getting the car a little sideways isn't as impossible as the good folks on rennlist would have us believe Both unintentional, surprising, and welcomed.
- I live on a remote reservation in North Dakota and my car doesn't draw as much attention as I thought it might (results very welcomed!).
- Discovered that it's impossible to keep my car clean because of all the mud on the roads from oil development. Ever seen a muddy Porsche? (pics to follow)

I use 19s for my crap all-season day to day tires. The only way I can tolerate them is by running relatively very low pressures.

There were people telling me they had mice getting trapped but they somehow managed to run away with the trap before going to heaven. It took them some time to find where the smell came from, so with this I'll have them right there...

New shoes last week...
Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD08 Rs to replace the Falken FK453s that came on on my car. The rear Falkens lost much of their grip at about 7K miles. Still looked good, but just didn't stick like they did when new and they had to go. I sold off the barely half worn front Falkens on Craigslist for $60.
235/40/18 Front, 295/30/18 rear. Yep, I went one size bigger up front, because the Advan 225/40s run small and are just 25.0" tall just like the rears, both have 831 revs per mile. The 235/40s have 820 revs per mile. The math is good...
After first drive down the Coast...
and look at the fitment of that 235/40 on the 18x8.5 wheel. Perfect or what?
