T2 are you located in RI? i thought i remember seeing that in an old post. If so, do you ever make it to any events? I'd love to see your car in person sometime! I'm fascinated by it.

318,000+ miles here on my 2003 996 Turbo X50 - bone stock minus upgraded intercoolers and Baileys DV's. Look up some posts from me this past summer to see what has needed maintenance.
90k miles is just broken in to me. What is he asking for the car, what color combo, what light mods does it have and lastly what were the recent service receipts for??

Did you pin/weld your coolant lines? I am buying an 01 with 26k miles on it and stage 2 AWE upgrades. The pricing is about $50k. I thought this was expensive but I do realize low mileage no accident nicely modified cars can fetch a premium. It's been very well kept by last 3 owners and current owner keeps it parked on a lift in his garage and only drives it in beautiful weather when he has time. I just want to make sure it's worth the ask.
Low miles doesn't equate to less monies now being spent on maintenance. These cars really need to be driven, when they sit, stuff goes bad. I have welded coolant lines, gt2 clutch setup, CSF rads. That alone is like $10k+. Wanna buy mine? 2003 w/ 68k miles and mint.

What else does yours have done to it? This one has a sachs stage 2 clutch and a bunch of other stuff through AWE. I just figured if the coolant lines arent pinned I would pin them and be doing regular maintain when as needed. The car will not be tracked but it wi be driven hard after reaching operating temps when hot. PM me more info on your car.

I had a scare on my 120k mile 2001. I noticed a knock coming from cld #1. It sounded a lot like a wrist pin or perhaps a rod. But, it ran great. Good oil pressure. No metal in the oil filter. My scare was the thought that I might need a 20k rebuild on a car that was maybe worth only low thirties. I worried that I had just lost a good part of my "investment". After much procrastination I took it to a Porsche Indy. It turned out to be a loose spark plug. After eval and fix the total bill was $918.00. I have never been so happy to pay someone a grand to tighten my spark plug! Still, I worry now that I might loose my entire investment should the car break... I've had 2 previous 996 non-turbos that kicked me to the curb like an angry ex-wife when they suffered catastrophic failure. These worries now in the back of my mind with the 996tt ...it kinda takes away from the fun of driving it. I think I'll sell. craig
