JIC Cross Coilovers Clearance
We have a bunch of these JIC CROSS Coilovers instock the 996TT. Before the end of the month, we want to move them What is the story behind them Cross coilovers?
Jon the owner of JIC USA, a division of JIC Japan, is a huge Porsche guy. Having raced Porsche's in Japan and Canada, Jon released an entire line up for the Porsche cars last year. JIC FLTA2 have been around the high end Japanese market for years and Vivid Racing has first hand experience using them on everything from street cars, road racing, and drifting. I have personally run them on my C2 and now my TT.
An Indy Car suspension specialist here in AZ who does Moton setups for Porsche cup cars took a ride in mine after corner balancing it to GT2 specs. His exact words were, "wow, I cant believe how fast they react to the road like the $5000 Motons do. The adjustability and quality is up there!" This guy knows his suspension and it was an honor for him to set the car up and have respect for the product.
The JIC Cross coilovers for the Porsche 996TT are truly an intense piece of engineering. The Monotube shock design features 16 way adjustable dampening (rebound and compression in one), adjustable ride height with helper springs, front camber plates for additional adjustability and rear pillowball mounts for a firmer ride and handling. The coilovers come preset in height to our specs by JIC and valved to the way we want them. Each set includes spanner wrenches for height adjusting and turn ***** for adjusting the dampening.
The front coilovers include heavy duty sway bar endlinks and feature an inverted shock design. The coilovers come with an 9kg front and 12kg rear spring rate. However, we can custom set the coilovers up for you using softer or stiffer springs and changing the nitrogen gas depending on your driving conditions, weight, and needs!
I have ran these coilovers on about 6 different cars of mine from a RX8, 240sx drift car, EVO Road Race Car, and now my Porsche. You will get the best ride, handling, and adjustability with these coilovers guaranteed! So its time to upgrade and get the best handling your 996TT deserves. Throw away the PSS9, the H&R, and step up.
I have special pricing on the coilovers for Forum Members, PM me or Email me. I am also offering a $150 instant rebate off the purchase price or to be used on express shipping! If interested and you want to discuss a setup for your vehicle, contact me!
Or you can order online

Cross JIC's for 996TT's !!
I cannot tell you guys anything other than "they transformed my car and turn in is very crisp",
and that combined with (Sharkey's) H&R rear sway bar I cut several seconds off from my
stock suspension lap times. They bang occasionally on pot holes but hey this is Minnesota
and it was 30 degrees f this morning.
Good luck with your decisons!
My mechanic put a full set of Motons on a 996TT the same week as mine and could not say
enough about how he liked my JIC's. I am not saying they are better than Motons,
this much I do know.

Oak,
I am saying, that I really "like em" and the price (less than $3k) makes them
attractive. Very good quality, easy to install, work well.
and yes if you asked my wife, I toot constantly.

If money was not the problem what set up IS the best??
Are the motons worth twice the price? Are the KW's better than JIC but not as good as motons??
Oak, get some beano!

If money isn't the object, Tom buy JRZ's.. 3way adjustable and you can go over the top with the new 4 way.. BTW, I have JRZ 3 ways.. Remember you said money no object..

JRZ's better than moton?? both better than JIC and KW's......Kevin?? Is this a case where you actually do get what you pay for?? the more expensive the better?
My question is will a mediocre track driver doing DE's like me monthly for fun really be able to tell the difference between a well set up car like Marty's with JIC and then your car?
Remember we are talking about ME, not a pro driver?
Oak, maybe you need an enema??

tom, thanks not sure it would help me at this stage. I get abit gasseous reading some posts. You know like eating that last piece o pizza when you know it will do you in, once read it's too late.
on the jrz's, I have been inquiring about motons and asked sharkster about them he mentioned that he misses his JRZ, he now has the motons. maybe he can put some input since he has run both coil overs.
paging sharkdood, please pick up the white courtesy phone.

Tom I got your email. Call me to discuss. I think the product and track proven experience speaks for itself!
I have owned about 6 sets on different cars. Street driving to road racing. Some cars I had them on for 5000 miles before I sold it and others for 30000 miles. I have personally never had to rebuild or replace any JIC product. However, if there was a need to revalve, rebuild, or upgrade, JIC facility in LA does it all!
Please do me the courtesy and post about other products and discussions not in this thread.
Thanks!

KW and JIC with the PSS9's are in a entry level upgrade. The Moton Clubsports are in the middle. Price no object are the lightweight JRZ's.. Call the Racers group, see how many GT3's and GT3R's are running JRZ.. Chad CJV has upgraded his 3 way's to 4 ways.. Go to the 964 forum and page Geoffrey, he has a full blown JRZ setup with his car.. Cary with ERP also specs out his suspension kits with JRZ.. You might try to email him.

Can anyone attest to long term durability for a mostly street application / moderate track application and Northeast winters (ie corrosion-I'd like to see some pics of those with higher mileage for daily drivers and see what the shock body threads look like)??

No offense, but this is a discussion board, not your company's classifieds. Other people's opinions about certain products is why we come here.
