Best driver sunglasses
I have the base windshield tint from factory on my Targa. With the top up my regular sunglasses are too dark. With the top down they are fine. What do you find are the best driver sunglasses (green/gray, polarized, etc.).

My go to choice for decades has been the Ray-Ban Predator series. I have a narrow face and finding comfortable and functional sunglasses can be a challenge.
Non-Polarized, I don't like the rainbows that appear with the Windshields and the Helmet Visors when riding my motorcycles
I also have and occasionally use a pair of Wiley-X XL-1 sunglasses.

I wear polarised ray ban aviators. I do have windows tinted, but not the windshield or sunroof. I don't see the rainbow spots on any of the windows, but do see them on the sport chrono clock.
I'm thinking of looking for a screen/glass protector for it.
Worked great on my phone with polarised sun glasses in the past.

I love my old Maui Jim's but recently read a Road and track test on driving shades and that led me to American Optics Pilots. Real lenses. These are the original NASA shades, the Top Gun glasses and more.
I too have a very narrow face and these fit.
I also like Ray-Ban terminator style.

Same here, Maui Jim’s. Tried many other brands and always come to the conclusion they are the best ( at least for me). Last time I bought a pair, the store owner told me that Mauri Jim has a lifelong lens replacement warranty.

I’m weird but I have a different set of Ray Ban New Wayfarers in every car + one for the plane, one for the house and one for travel (12 different pairs). They are all different colors and styles and specifically chosen to go with the vintage, color scheme and vibe of each car (eg F355 has the Ferrari edition with small red accents and tiny cavalinos, the 993 has the retro black frame/brown lenses, etc…)
Why do I do this? I can’t keep track of sunglasses if I move them around to different vehicles/locations and end up losing them almost immediately. Since I started doing it this way I haven’t lost a single pair.

I use Maui Jims (polarized) or Persol (non-polarized) daily, but for low light, fog, rain, or snow: Vuarnet Nightlynx lens
