I had a similar story except I did not contact 9ff USA myself but had my shop contact them to see what discount we can get for their 587HP kit...I was trying to get this without the modified K24s or exhaust but they said all or nothing!! They kept contacting my shop as if they were really desperate for business. Looking back, I am glad I did not do the performance kit (my car was brande new and I did not justify spending another 20K after paying 18K for the X50...).
John, your story really shows how some people do not deserve to live on the face of this planet. I wish you the best of luck and don't give up...There is always justice in the world and what goes around comes around (even though it can take a long time !!).

Federic is so pathetic, now he is writing to me. Telling me to stop bad mouthing them, why because I speak the truth. They are such a terrible and stupid company. My bodyshop contacted them numerous times to talk to them and 9ff contacted them, then they keep informing me that my body shop is not good, etc.. that is why they took extra time and he emails me telling me the bodyshop never did work on my car, because he has the wrong information, he keeps blamming a bodyshop I never went to. Especially when I gave the idiot the address of the bodyshop to ship it to. Shows how ignorant this fool is, I hate this guy and he is really getting on my nerves and now harrassing me. He tells me I was proud to show my car off at meets. Of course I am proud, because the car is beautiful and I am ashamed to have your piece but after wasting over $5500, I am not going to throw it away. But dont consider it yours, because the wing is a piece of crap and required over 40 hours of labor to make it look decent, not like the stick figure you sent me. Then all your products are copied from RUF, because he use to work for them and now copying their products. Kick him off, he is user FCB now. So speak up you coward!

Could the 2000+ readers buy a piece of jro996turbo's troubles for $12 apiece, and then file a class action suit against 9ff.

Otherwise we could tell 6 people and they could tell 6 people and so on and so on..then 9ff is out of business; and we're all $12 poorer and a richer and tighter community for it.

After all jro996 turbo may have saved us from a potentially unscrupulous company, that hides behind their agents.

By the way, they have not responded to my helpful and considerate email. I'm disappointed.

Put me in for $12 as well. Several months ago, I added new aerodynamics to my TT. Considered 9ff. I'm really happy that I came to my senses and bought from another quality supplier.

If 9ff does not redeem their reputation the correct way, I think this thread should always be brought up at the first sign of 9ff. I just don't see why anyone else should take such a big risk...

I think we should start a new "help jro who got screwed by 9ff" thread...
Also, this is a bit off-topic but if anyone is feeling more generous than the $12.00 you can donate to my paypal account - LOL

I agree with msindi, a new thread should be started, I think I will take the plunge and start it up.

Just finished reading the entire thread. This is outrageous. Speaking frankly as an attorney, unless there was some as-yet-unmentioned contribution to the problem by Jro, this case is going to be a complete cakewalk for Jro's lawyer. Have at 'em. If you're looking for helpful precedent, there was a spate of well-publicized litigation against a couple of tuners (of Vipers and other makes) in Texas and elsewhere in the last several years. Virtually all cases were settled under the threat of litigation, or otherwise were outright victories for the plaintiffs-car owners. Make sure you keep the apartment-dwelling owner of 9ff-USA on your radar screen, Jro, as he's likely to run "underground" to escape personal liability for his wrongdoing. Depending on the commingling of assets, nature of the licensing agreement, warrantor of the products, etc., 9ff Germany might also be legally responsible for the harm here.

It's odd that the 9ff folks don't understand that the damage being inflicted by this fiasco on their reputation and ability to conduct business in the future is far greater than the $24,000 that it would take to make Jro whole. Just plain stupid business people. Tell me where to send my 12 bucks.
