Just looking for a ballpark price, to see if I would rather get them or spring for K24s so I can have a fake X50

Talk to Kevin he's THE man as you know and even if its more expensive as the K24's will make you loose some low down power and the K16's won't! I'm still trying to track a set of headers to send to Kevin for porting and coating but still no luck... Hey Kevin if you get a hand on a set please say so...

Thats why I'm asking........unlike most of you money IS an object

There is a used set of K24s running around town I can procure.......now that I know where the guy parks

I figure that an ECU & exhaust upgrade with K24s probably reduces lag to the stock K16 level.......If I can save $3-4k why not?

That is for the Stage 2s only. There are several different versions aviable and options. It will depend on the HP you want which turbo you should get. We use the GT1 and stage 2s on a regular basis.

for the pair exchange i could be off a few bucks but thats real close...........just picked the car up from remap it is at 540 to the wheels.... fairly fast.... still have some mods in mind but did not go for the larger turbos for two reasons faster spoolup and am chicken that i might bend my rods,,,, thats why i went for s cargo larger headers,,,

OK, I was just trying to see if lightly used K24s were worth about $2k per set.

What do ya think?

Omega... PM me then as I'm looking for a used set for Kevin to port and coat but hey if you already ported them... good for me! LOL. I'll just coat them. Everyone says it a good mod specially on stock K16's since it makes them spool a bit earlier...

The stage 1 hybrid K16's spool faster than K24's, and make as much (or more) power. They would also be just like new, and they only cost $1700. No brainer. I just can't decide if I want to do stage 1 or 2!

I am donning my flame suit.... there I have it on.
How do we know that Hybrid k-16's make more power ????
What hybrids are we talking about? Kevin's? if so what configuration?

Sorry for the skepticism, I just want to make right decision also. K-16 based turbo vs k-24 turbos? who can elaborate (hopefully with dyno experience)

Marty K.
