It's a great model, there is no glue needed and can be assembled in a couple of hours. It also includes a great Porsche mag, which is part of the instructions. It is well worth the money, or at least in my opinion

Arena Red was only a custom paint request for 996 so they are pretty rare in this model, much more common in the 993s. I've searched around for production numbers by color and it seems that Porsche keeps that very close hold.

Default New guy's other toys

Just registered with Rennlist. This is my first post. "Other toys" seemed like a safe subject for a rookie. Here they are. The '76 Jimmy has an LS swap with an NV4500 5-speed and the original 3.73 gears. The '72 Chevelle has the original 350 long block with a Weiand 144 blower, 700r4 trans, and 3.42 posi.

Thanks. They're fun to drive too. The Jimmy sees more outside time than the Chevelle. Of course both of them get more exercise than my 944.

The Chevelle does sound pretty fun, they look well cared for, very nice!

Heh, i dont trust myself messing with anything worth over 100k and im completely fine with his trucks, modern muscle cars and 90s/2k mustangs.

Hes tossed me the keys to his 2013 gt350 to take for the weekend and it sat in my garage all weekend.

I have driven a GT350 - it is very entertaining and the engine is a jewel.

Just picked her up today, funny what 18+ years of development does for a model, and that ten speed box is phenomenal!!!
