That looks nice. I love BMWs....... That are under warranty.
I understand. Even though my e39 M5 is not under warranty I wanted my daily driver to be under warranty. My old X3 had 123k miles. Although it was running great, an opportunity arose to get this X3M Competition with warranty. I retired this August so warranty was important, like you said. The 503 HP is more than the M5; unbelievable.

The Competition version has 503 HP. The base X3M has 473 hp.
Actually I was also drawn to the interior. Nice seat options and carbon fiber bits. I played around with the lighting options last night. I'm not leaving it blue, I'll switch to a pale white color later; just selected blue for the photo. There are about 10 options for ambiance lighting. The third photo is the access lighting outside the doors when unlocked. That can also be removed.
M logo also lights up. Temporary blue Entry way.

LOL. That's ok. They are not for everyone. I was trying to minimize the performance delta between my weekend car and my daily driver. Also, we get snow where I live so I like to have an SUV in the garage. I ordered some all season tires for it. These are the same Michelin A/S high performance tires that now come standard on the new Corvettes. I have full summer tires on now and they won't cut it. Interested to see how these A/S's work in light snow.
I just picked up a 2001 SVT Cobra with 16K miles on it for my middle son. The car is bone stock, unbelievably clean, and an absolute blast to drive. Not a huge investment but I'm trying to teach him to take care of a car (he will) and either sell it down the road or hold it forever. Luckily he's the future engineer type and is all over it.

It impresses me that when I bought my M5, it was a Big Boy with 575hp out of 4.4l, but now, I can have 72hp less out of a 3.0; it would probably interest me if it were more truck like...

A friend of mine had a Mach1 of similar vintage, it was highly entertaining to drive, until, that is, his wife was showing off doing doughnuts in a parking lot and met a light standard at relatively high speed...

But as long as it makes you happy, roll with it!
Probably closer to an M3. Definitely not a truck. What year was your M5?
