Thanks Dock. The Turbo seems to be getting very little attention these days but I'm not driving around with any of my cars in this ash filled air, we've been using the family SUV for just about everything these past few weeks!

I consider that a very good move.
And if it were me, I'd also limit my personal exposure to the ash just from a respiratory standpoint.
May have responded to this post before but just purchased a 2014 Z51 7MT Corvette Stingray Convertible to add to my "collection" of "fun" cars and have listed my 2000 C4 Cab for sale as a result.
The other 2 "fun" cars in my garage are a 2002 Toyota MR2 Spyder and a Cobb tuned 2008 BMW 335i E90 Sedan (modified w/M3 front suspension parts, Koni shocks and other things).

My MR2 looks identical to this one. Don't have a lot of photos of mine readily available. Need to remedy that.
Bought it 15 years ago. It has 55k miles on the ODO and has been a joy to own & drive. Only about 35k miles of those were mine; barely 2k/yr.
It's all stock except for a cone air filter and long intake pipe that the prior owner installed. Should replace it w/a stock box because the cone is hard to access for cleaning.
No mechanical problems whatsoever; just normal wear/tear. Nothing to do to it, except annual oil changes, replacing a coupe of batteries, a few plastic parts that broke or disappeared and a set of tires I installed about 6 yrs ago.
Just had an oil chg at the dealer and adjusted the eBrake myself (which was a PITA to do because it requires taking out both seats to get at the eBrake adjustment bolt). Replacement of the drive belt and a leaky axle cover were recommened by the dealer and will do that shortly. Will also need a new set of brake pads in awhile. Tires are getting old but still a lot of tread on them. Will replace them w/the brakes in a yr or 2. Not urgent.
Just replaced the driver's side seat back cover with a passenger back seat cover (the backs are identical) that I got from a guy in SoCal who was parting his MR2.
The right side seat back bolster was severely worn (it's cloth) from sliding in/out of the car over the years. Wasn't torn yet but really looked tattered. Looks like new now but I'm going to buy a pair of Okole seat covers so that both seats are protected from now on.
Have no plans to EVER sell the MR2. Best I could get for it would be around $10-12k and that's not enough to make up for the enjoyment I get when driving the car.
It's WAY underpowered compared to my Vette (460), BMW (390) and 996 (300) but, even at just 138HP, it's just so much FUN to drive, especially in the twisties where it tracks like it's on rails and on top of that costs so little to keep/maintain.
Stumbled upon a smokin' deal for an old Supra TS6M the other day and now I have a little winter project.
It doesn't actually need much. The previous owner is a mechanic and went through the boat so it's all caught up on maintenance. It does need some cosmetic love, which is something I enjoy doing.
