Pavesi 125 cc shifter kart. 6 speed shifts @ around 12,500 rpm.
Will break ur neck & ribs in one lap unless u r protected & know whats up.

I totally miss my RC10!!! That was a fun project to build with my dad. Until we got to the soldering!
I ended up converting mine to on-road duty with electronic speed control - so many good memories!!! Thanks for sharing the picture!

That shifter kart looks serious. i like the brake bias set up, can it be adjusted while driving

Yes, but u could never take ur hands off the steering wheel with these karts to do so at speed.
The ride is so brutal & harsh u cant even think about where the adjustment **** is.

Plus u need rib protection vest which adds another 1.5 inches of girth. ;-(

A friends kid is involved in this, somewhat semi professionally - they use a spec motor and I believe it is capped around 85mph.

That is very close to the ground for 85mph - and very little. Gone are the days of direct steering and a 5hp Briggs and Stratton...

The six speed Pavasi 125cc ported motor with the right gearing will do 118 mph on a long straight.
