Decklid (at least) has been repainted as evidenced by overspray on the adjuster bolts. Worst part though was the smell. Interior smelled like a previous owner was a smoker long ago.

crazy that anyone would smoke in a GT3 at all. I barely listen to the radio, let alone kick back and smoke. Perhaps it’s the aggressive track alignment, but even cruising (to the track), it’s pretty much two hands on the wheel and peak attention to the road ahead for me.

On one hand I agree, but on the other hand I just imagine

sounds like a used car to me. Looks nice if leakdown and over rev reports check out.

I don’t agree at that price. They actually told me 130k. There are much nicer examples for significantly less out there.

Color is pretty subjective. I would pay less for silver and black, more for yellow, white or blue. Red would be pretty flat. I haven't noticed reds bringing less at auction than black or silver but I haven't been watching very closely.

Yes.
And FWIW, I have never bought color. I buy the car.
Condition, condition, condition. Will buy with a tired motor before I go near one with structural issues, previous crash damage and The #1 deal killer: RUST. Body work will break the bank. I can show bills for a body restoration and the bill for the engine built by one of the best with nothing but the best in it. Didn't even come hand grenade close.

YMMV but this has served me well.

No association with the seller, but came across this 2005 that looks like it could be a nice driver.

Default A clean carfax at least.

I llike how they say it retains a clean Carfax not that the car is never been crashed, but the sticker under the hood bonnet is missing.

A clean CarFax isn't difficult with respect to unreported incidents (no police, no insurance company involvement -single vehicle accident). Repairs are paid for out of pocket.

It's not uncommon for 2005 MY to NOT have a sticker under the hood from factory. There are tons of threads on this out on the internet.

edit: it would be more suspicious if it had a sticker :}

This is very interesting about the sticker. My 05 doesn't have a sticker.

It's interesting to see this on BAT and Pcarmarket. Some 2005 models have option stickers, others do not.

If someone’s got some deep pockets for this white/blue RS. 8,715 km (5,145 miles). Car is in Canada so will have to get show and display for this still, but don’t have to deal with overseas shipping.
