I have to say I am really appalled by some of the peoples attitudes on this post. Some comments are totally unnecessary and offensive. So the thread-starter made a mistake, surely we all make mistakes that is why we are human. Grow up people!

Watt,
I could not get the right color (SY) so I compensated with a really loud exhaust. The racing numbers also make a bit of a statement but nothing quite as "in your face" as speed yellow!

I think a lot of people have been overly harsh, and a few even offensive to the original poster. A bit unnecessary! He learned a hard lesson, from the sound of it.
This situation is a bit like someone buying a hand-made watch from the most exclusive of Swiss craftsmen and complaining that it doesn't have a stopwatch feature like his casio had...
Personally speaking, I have never been in a car that was too harsh for a daily driver, and that includes cars significantly harsher than the GT3. As for noise, if it's road legal then it's not loud enough! Too low for the driveway? Then the driveway needs to be fixed! The GT3 sounds like my kinda car

I know most of you may want to forget this thread, but as a new member to rennlist, I am going through old ones and found this to be the funniest thread ever. No wonder the brits think most of us are idiots.

Jeez-
I think a lot of people who buy a GT3 are really looking for something that rides like a Mercedes sedan, not a sports car. The sports car look, not the sports car feel. They have to be the first one on the block to have the latest thing, then they are dissappointed with the fact that this is *really* a performance car.
Then they go on to criticize the car and not themselves for making the mistake.
The GT3 does not, IMHO, have as harsh a ride as my 350Z and is absolutely NOWHERE near the firm ride of my Carrera Cup with European RS suspension. I want the stiff ride and I am afraid Porsche may back away from producing cars like the GT3, something the USA has gone without for years, because of people like the guy who started this thread.
My point is if you want a sedan ride, buy a sedan. Do your homework, figure what you really want, do the market research, drive it before you buy it. Don't burden us who want a real sports car with your problems.
