Got it, in case the deflector is pulled somehow, you don't want the line to be affected.. got it.. will look into the part that you mentioned. Not sure why it was missing..
No wheel studs.. kept on reading about stud failures (I am sure it is quite the minority) so I am still using the bolts.. it is not as convenient, but not terrible, I guess..

They break constantly - especially at full wheel lock. I've never been quite sure of what line it was attached to- but always paranoid. Safety first.
example. I was at Pocono this weekend and on a nice BMW an inner rear wheel well plastic liner had cracked and it cut into his rear tire like a lathe. Little things can matter. I should have taken a photo

Just bumping this old thread to see how those Cayenne PowerSlot rotors worked out. Looks as if both the ATE and PowerSlot rotors are still available. Is there any reason to choose one over the other, or to avoid both and opt for a more expensive, GT3-specific rotor.

I got 15 track days out of my current set of Deman rotors. I could probably squeeze another weekend out of them, but I'm wary of cutting it too close when it comes to rotors. I'll post some pics tonight to show their current state.

Aside from price and longevity, is there anything to favor any one of these over the others? I'll leave them on all the time but I really mean on the track - do the high dollar 2-pc. rotors result in faster laps w/ less fade?
Seems like you either go w/ ATE, Sebro, Zimmerman, PowerSlot, etc. for around $100, OEM or Deman for $300-$400, or Girodisc, PFC, Brembo, etc. for $650 and up.
I did not find anything on the Deman site about the rotors or any other parts but TRG and Paragon sell them. Bob, do you really think Deman has these made to their specs just for them? Seems unlikely - probably just branded.
FWIW I have 18 track days and close to 10,000 miles on my $105 Brake Performance Cayenne rotors. They have some checkering but I will get a few more events out of them. But overall I am not content w/ my braking - too much fade and pedal travel.
