Default O.Z.alleggerita?

Any one know whether these are tough enough for the track?

Yes. I have them on my RGT. They are also very light compared to most wheels, and are very reasonably priced.

There's a lot of discussion on the wheels here and on 6speed and they have become quite track worthy.

Please call me with questions or if you'd like to order!

Default OZ Wheels

I ran a set of Ultraleggera's 19's for a year when I had a 997S. A friend of mine is tracking them now. Three seasons on the track for those wheels now. No problems. I know of two other track buddies running those in 18's with no issues. If any thing the Alleggerita's look a little more rugged. I'd have to say for the price they are a good value. My experience with the wheels indicated that they were well balanced as well.

Got them in my car and local performance shop uses them on Boxter spec racers. No issues. Check out my pictures here: https://rennlist.com/forums/996-gt2-...-please-2.html

I've seen several serious chaps use them at the track with no issues.
I think there are enough endorsements here to say they are good.
I have been contemplating a set as well.

don't know too much about O.Z.alleggerita but i have a set of OZ Ultra..... and use them on the ring with no problems, also RSR which rent cars to be used on the ring also use OZ's on some of their GT3's which would prove thier lasting capibilties on track.

Strong and light and the cost is close to repairing a three piece wheel if you do smash it.

i don't actually care for the looks of these, but it's hard to beat the price/weight. i'll probably pick-up a set next year.

Victor Equipment Innsbruck's are also an option...same weight and cost leaque. One season with them, including 36 laps of Nordschleife without problems.
IMO Innsbrucks look better than Alleggeritas, but I'm actually disappointed that there's no Ultraleggera HLT's in 18"...that would be my #1 choice.

They don't like to hit armco much

This is what a friend did to his front wheel on the Nordschleife earlier this year; note that every spoke has broken. The rear had about 1/3rd of its rim peeled off as if it had encountered a large can opener.

That said, I have a set on my GT3 & they are by far the lightest wheels I have, the others being BBS LM's & OEM.
