Really? I'll recheck my shop's 'logic' but it could be the duties. The BBS prices look similar though but if the delta is that big, no question IMO

Sorry, my mistake. The cheapest ones are $1650, but colours bring them up to $1808. I just went by memory from when I bought mine, and I thought that they were a touch cheaper. Wheels for 996 GT3

Looks like if you are ok with the "anthracite" finish (I guess that is like a gun metal look?) then $1650 is a great price. If you want colored or black then it's not much more at $1800. Either way, great price for a great wheel.

I need to have the BBS checked for trueness but I'm pretty sure they're fine as the guy has a 944T and a 7RS race cars and a GT2 dd with his own mechanic but I tend to prefer the unused option considering how much wheels are exposed to in racing.
IMO, BBS is where it's at for me... Can't go wrong with OZ, but i'm just a sucker for BBS wheels for on and off the track , and have used them on every car for the past 8 year's or so...

If you don't take them , I want them ha ;0)

The anthricite wheel is the one we buy in the biggest quantity, so are $15 per wheel less than the other colors are. BBS is certainly a great wheel, but at 1/3rd the cost of a race shop wheel and the same weight..... it's pretty hard to deny these are a great value.

By the way, we have distribution agreements with OZ that permits TireRack to only sells the wheel in North America. As much as I'd love to, I cannot ship them out of the states unless to Canada or a US territory. My apologies to anyone outside of the US that wants to buy them from me. Believe me, that one wasn't my decision!

Lol - I pm'd him per Dell's suggestion but seems I have to deal w non-RL locals - their price did come down by $640 thanks to weaker $ and some evidence from tire rack re 'real prices' - Thanks Damon. I'm used to paying up for imports but it still irks. I love the anthracite! Matches my break dust Ordered w Dunlop slicks.

Damon you need to talk them into making 9" or even 9.5" fronts in their 18" series. They'd sell a lot more rims to racers who run wider fronts like me....
