I agree black looks great on black cars and white too Cfjan!! Not sure if I want it on my silver car over a gray color or anthacite/titanium look.
Still searching. My wheels will go out next week. Thay are off the car and as cleaned up as I can make them for John at CCW--- considering they are etched beyond belief with "wheel cleaner".
I still don't think the body shop wash guy has any idea what happend...

I am not an expert but some clarification may help others.
Wheels come painted, powdercoated, you see some chromed and mine were anodized.
Without trying to state absolutes most mild cleaners can be used on all of them EXCEPT the anodized. I never used anything but soap and water with brushes etc and mine were mint until the shop took it upon themselves to spray wheel cleaner on them.
The anodized are the strongest and lightest. Paint or powder coat adds weight. Not much, just sayin.
Mine got "etched" by the cleaner used, whatever it was. There is no fixing that, they have to now be painted.
Hope this helps. Still looking for a carbon fiber shade of gray on the car pic. Gotta decide very soon.
