BTW, I'm running -3.5 front and -3 rear for camber. Wear also seems very even with rotating and flipping.

After giving up on the Kuhmos after dealing with a number of local tire shops (all said they were out of stock and would be weeks away), I bit the bullet and ordered from Tirerack. Surprise surprise, they were in stock and delivered to my door in 4 days. Still got some life left in the Hoosiers but they'll be followed by the Kuhmos. Look forward to the comparison.

Steve, maybe you should mount them on one of your sets of wheels so that you can switch between the two while the Hoosiers still have some life left. That way your comparison will be more like-to-like.
Cause you know what's going to happen if you wait til the Hoohoos are dead, you'll find the Kumhos amazing.

That's basically the plan. I'll mount them and take them to RA and do a couple of sessions of each back to back if the weather allows. Then I'll use up the Hoosiers. BTW, $1840.00 delivered from Tirerack so they're a little more expensive. 30 HC's or more and I'll be happy. Real happy if they don't spin on the wheels.

If the tires rotate over the wheel which seems to happen with grippier tires u will have steering wheel vibration ie car feels out of balance. Kuhmos will rotate too. Kuhmo v710's sizes are 245/40 square 305/30 square. They will last much longer then Hoosiers. Hot pressures not above 32 psi for kuhmos. Mike

Thanks. I called Kumho and they confirmed it wasn't an issue either. I'd prefer the shorter front for a little more fender clearance....the car is pretty low.

bring up this thread because other than the last set of kuhmos i had with 2 flats, my last set only lasted 15 heat cycles..(kuhmos) running real low with -2 .0 fr -2.6 rear
corded inside rears...toe fr 3/16 inch toe out and rear 3/16 toe in
driving style a bit early with lots of trail braking.and sliding....
might as well get hoosiers?
anyone with similar experience? thanks
btw in my experience kuhmos about 2 sec faster than nittos at sebring..still have some time left to get.....

I have 11 hc's on my K's. So far, not terribly impressed... They appear to wearing well, but slide everywhere. 32 rear 30 front hot. For the money I think I'd rather go back to hoosiers, which felt way grippier. Especially if I'm not going to get 25 hc's out of them. They are already slowing down after 6 hc's.

What size rear wheel are you mounting the Khumos on. I assume the rear tire you are running are 305's. Just wondering. My wheels are 11's and the 305's are stretched a bit on the wheel. Haven't had them on the track yet. The last event my last set of hoosiers held up and I didn't see the need and was to lazy to try them out.
Anybody ever mount a Khumo 305 on a 11 inch wheel?
TIA
