Dell,
I hear ya, and I have to admit I'm a little puzzled by my Fikse experience. I ran probably 4-5 sets of Nittos on the Fikses with no movement at all, but as soon as I tried the R6's, rotation was a huge problem. Worked with multiple tire shops and various remedies, but ultimately new wheels were the (expensive) solution. It frankly doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but a contributing factor may that my Fikses came off a 996 cup and were used for racing for a couple of years so maybe that use/abuse (somehow) made them more susceptible to rotation. Anyways, Fikses soon to be for sale.......

running sport cups>>>
cold pressure 30, hot 36 all four corners. running stock 18" turbo twists with no rotation of tire on rim. i cant understand how the aquanet holds up to the heat, but many have tried it with success.
Not sure if it is a tire issue, ambient temp issue or a set-up issue or a combination of all of the above, but I get a cold-hot pressure rise of about 10 lbs on the front and 14-16lbs on the rears with Hoosiers. Seems like the Kuhmos top out earlier. Curious if your Hoosiers increased in pressure a similar amount as the Kuhmos seem to do. Thanks.

The aquanet isn't an adhesive - its a lube for mounting, which then evaporates and remains somewhat sticky, but the sticky isn't what's keeping it on the wheel. Same trick for putting on golf grips.

It is. After 3 sets of Hoosiers I went back to a brand new set of Nittos (that I had purchased last year) and it felt like there was something wrong with the car. Had everything to do with new tires and the tread blocks, but really a let down after the Hoosiers. Likely my last set of Nittos.....

I applaud your fortitude in overcoming the GT3/Hoosier addiction. But....once sampled, the taste of the 3 is never totally forgotten - or so I'm told. Not a theory I want to test anytime soon.

I have a 1 and 3 year old so I have learned an incredible amount of patience. I know one day soon I will be back in a 3. Most likely a Cup. Just need to wait until they get a little older
