Talked to TireRack again this AM wound up ordering the R6 in 245/35 and 315/30 18.What I had seen was NO AVAILIBILTY in any thing that would remotely work in the V710 .The rep said they have been back ordered since last summer .I know the r6 will be fine but just doesn't have the durability of the V710.JUST FYI to all interested HOM

Odd - both Tire Rack and Tread Depot show in stock for 245/40-18 and 305/30-18 when I check. 245/35-18 showed as back-order however.

Cheers.

I assume "call" over at Treadepot means they don't have 'em and when I talked to the rep this AM at TireRack He said they 245/35 were on back order and opined that the maybe the v710 was being discontinued .No idea thanks for your help !HOM

Your words - not mine. Tire Rack confirmed they have V710s in 245/40-18 and 305/30-18 in stock. If you only want 245/35-18 then fine. Just don't make blanket statements that are not correct.

Gentlemen - We do indeed have 245/40R18 and 305/30R18 710's in stock. The 245/35R18 is on backorder with no ETA. Thanks

I run Nitto 245 40 F 315 30 R without abs issues. I just ordered my first set of R6's and ordered the same sizes. Wheels are Forgeline VF-1's 18x9F 18x11.5R. It appeared as though the diameters were very close (<.5 in) to the Nitto's. Will I definately have abs issues?
TIA

Darrick

You will be fine. I have been running those sizes for years - as have all the NT01 users here. No ABS issues. Possibly some rubbing up front near full steering lock.

The problem with the Kuhmo is it is a 315/35 and not a 315/30. The Kuhmo is just too tall in that size which is why Kuhmo guys run the 305/30 in the rear (at least with the V710s).

Cheers.
