- Hoosier R6s on a gt3 makes the car feel like a totally different car

I haven't driven a 996 GT3 with an RS wing, maybe Victor could give us his insite into what he's felt with the stock wing vs. the RS wing and if it makes a difference

Yea I can feel the difference in the wing, specifically in that sweeper, I had to constantly correct with the stock wing/stock splitter, where now with the RS wing, 997 gurney lip, cup spoiler and RS nose with the downforce kit, i could take the turn with one hand if i wanted to. And the data reads at least 10mph faster. I need to do a back to back comparison on a stock car. Pete wanna try swapping wings for a session?

I can't wait to see what happens at fontana with all that kit!

BUT on my third GT3, it cannot hold toe. the toe goes off if you just stared at it.

Mooty, we got the same batch of toe links !

RS wing with 8 degree shims is FANTASTIC in the high speed sweepers and turns. The two places I felt it immediately was the climbing esses and the front kink at VIR.

I like Dell's RS wing which I bought from him earlier this year. It keeps the rear planted. I have noticed a difference from the stock wing while using 8 degree shims.

Me too... I have played around extensively with no shim, the 4 deg shim and the 8 deg shim... I do notice a significant difference between 0 and 8, and the differenence between 0-4 and 4-8 is more subtle...

I'd be interested in your comments CC (and others) regarding the RS wing. I still can't believe how expensive they have become, but wonder if it is worth the price as I run exclusively at a high speed track (Miller in Utah)

Thanks,
-Blake

Between the utility of it and the sheer beauty of it, I think it is worth more than the price of admission!

It's helpful at MMP especially the off camber turns (I never memorized the names)
