That owner should have been banned from ever buying another Porsche. That dealer should have been shut down by Porsche

That's my car and while possible, I have my doubts about the story. It's a quality repaint and looks good but probably conjured up by a salesman to romanticize the color change. I've got service history to almost new but unfortunately nothing pinpoints when a repaint occurred. Upside is Biarritz White/Natural brown is a beautiful combination.

Oh nice! I wondered if the current owner was on here. The story does seem outlandish so who knows. It's not an unattractive car by any stretch but it is an interesting decision by whoever made it.

I haven't seen the OP, @Simonripley on here in ages. I've been thinking about going back through this and created a doc/spreadsheet that will be easier to update.

I installed the Rennline motor mounts, Feal coilovers, Fabspeed intake, and the seats.(using Planted mounts)
I also polished the headlights and possibly did some other work on it.
If I'd known the owner was going to get rid of it I would have bought it from him.
If it were nearby I'd probably go buy it if they were willing to deal some.
I'm bummed it got away.

Side note, I see you have a FSI 4.0! I'm not jealous at all. I wasn't in the position to go that route but I was lucky enough to get a take out from Jake after he deemed running too good to use as a core.
