Yes...the "other" ones are in chest freezers in a storage locker in Barstow; no investigation is required.

I think the morale of this story is to always be honest, and forthcoming; but to also use components that are commercially available, proven, and well respected.

When I build something crazy, and one off, it has no value and I have to throw it away... Else I risk the same thing happening that has been illustrated by this thread. We are forced to throw things away all the time.

It's fine to cobble something together, but it's not fine to turn around and represent it as something different in order to sell it.

There are plenty of one-off things that have value - rat rods and other one-off creations can be awesome - but in those cases you KNOW you're paying for a one-of-a-kind and you're willing to accept any risk associated with buying the only example of some thing...

Well since there have been strong hints of legal proceeding in the works and KK is supposedly busy taking down evidence (and not realizing that the Internet forgets nothing) I would say this will be one of those cases that could drag on for an extended period of time.

We could be posting on this for years to come!

How about we skip the escrow proceedings, be adults and make it a hundred? I'm not willing to **** off my wife if she finds out I bet $1,000 on an internet forum over a blown engine playing "triple dog dare you". Basically, whoever loses buys the other one a nice dinner.

I'm easy to find to collect. I trust that you're good not to welch on a $100 bet. It might be a couple of years before we know the outcome. And just to be clear, the bet is that OP never collects 10 cents or more from his proceedings against KK regarding this incident. Let me know if that works for you.

Just to put this in perspective, $100 isn't even one of JI's oil changes, or the other guy's weekly Starbuck's addiction, or one of Ahsai's engine assembly tools, one of Groovezilla's debris in his backyard you can accidentally lodge in your shoe if you walk over it, gnat's gold plated IMS, etc.....

Basically chump change around here.

Well, $100 can buy you exactly 6 head bolts....and you'll need 24
