gotten a few PM's and been asked how my car has been doing.
I've done about 4000km's since the rebuild and things are going well. there's still somethings I need to fix such as the headlight switch, some noisy sway bar links, the sloppy shifter, replace trans mount, and the guibo, and the slow start when hot issue (pretty sure it's that y cable) but otherwise there has been 0 codes since fixing the vacuum leaks. The car was smoking on cold start up last year but I'm positive that was due to me overwhelming the AOS at Calabogie. I've been driving it like a decent human being for the pass 1500km or so and have had about 2 dozen cold starts with 0 smoke!
Performed a single stage polish and sealed with opti gloss coat. Looks a lot better than before but she could probably use a wet sand for a show car finish.
I'm hoping I can get some vids this weekend.
and everything is for sale for the right price. before someone asks

I didn't change the injectors though. All I did was run a few cans of seafoam through it (as you recommended). Maybe the seafoam cleared them up??? I dont know.
The new ones are still sitting in their packaging on my work bench.

Man, I feel for you. I agree with slakker, if you can get a problem free year, it probably will sell much easier. You may also just preemptively get a thorough PPI to give prospective owners some comfort.
If you put it on BAT, you open yourself up to year round selling. Good luck.

I doubt this car would move in the GTA especially how it's priced. Maybe the Ottawa valley is different for them. I think its going to be a tough sale myself or at the very least a big loss. I must say out of all the vehicles I have ever owned the potential buyers of a Porsche sure seem to know or think they know a lot more than the average guy looking for a car. To be honest I had never ever heard of a pre purchase inspection on a vehicle until I looked into buying a Porsche. I've done many on airplanes when acquiring them but never a car / truck / boat / toy etc...

jake was thinking my injectors were getting lazy so recommended I put some cans of seafoam in the gas tank. I actually use seafoam In all my machines. I swear by it for cleaning gummed up carbs. I haven't had to clean my sleds carbs in over 4 years and that used to be a yearly thing for me.
I use it in my cars and van, sleds, dirtbikes, snowblower, lawnmower...and now the porsche.
I've used the version you spray into the intake while engine is running and the one you pour in the gas tank. I've only poured it in the gas tank for the porsche though.
