All I need is a front and rear bumper cover to get it back to original

I'll post pics of my new to me 2001 Seal Gray Aero car once it comes back from the mechanics shop, in the meantime with regards to the front bumper.

The center middle cutout, why are some cutouts blocked off behind and some are open. I noticed today mine was blocked off but I like the open look better.

The center opening is for 3rd radiator.

 

Do you know if they make any inner covers for it to close the opening of the inner part of the bumper?

 

u can hot glue in a piece of plastic or use it as a good opertunity to upgrade to a third rad.

 

996 505 553 04 01C is the part number for the OE blocked center cover for .1 6sp cars. Costs about $100 new. You could do a number of things to block or modify the opening, but if you’re taking the bumper cover off anyway, just do it the way it was engineered. If the center is open, without the center radiator or RS style ducting up over the hood, the air traps above the crash bar area and increases lift.

Are you planning on adding an aero lip to the front?

Although, I'll have to admit Tom is the king of 996 Aero cars, so if you want one he will have one, or know where to get one.
