I guess the only thing I'm seeing is that the painted portion (the vertical slat seen from front view) is much more obvious, but otherwise, I can't tell - obviously, if I'm missing something, fill me in

I don’t know about you but to me, the biggest difference is a more aggressive lower leading edge

OH, see, that I see now, that's subtle. Is that the most resounding difference, then?

I have both of the bumpers at my house. The mk1 is different, from the front they r almost identical. U can cut out the center rad block off if u add a rad. Also the fender and light interface is different.

The mk2 bumper has a support structure that snaps into the back of the bumper.

The sides are different and the cup splitter for the mk2 does not fit perfect but can be used. I had to drill new holes and fex it a little but it looks good. The splitter is now N/A for porsche but Demon Speed will have a repro soon.

1999 - full oem aerokit completed. took a while, especially finding the rear wing - which I was unsure about, but I'm liking it more and more.

It's one of the prettiest wings on a 911. Your car looks great - congrats!

I convinced my 12 year old daughter to take some "in motion" pictures. They turned out pretty good!

I love the combination of SportDesign wheels and a 996.1 aerokit. It really gets that original GT3 look.

Someday, I would love to swap my SportClassic wheels for some SportDesign ones instead.
