I feel like I may be dealing with a similar situation with a local 1999 996. I'm no 996 expert, but I've been studying up since this car popped up in town, and as soon as I point out some specific questions and start asking about service history I get an odd vibe. The vehicle would sell quickly on PCarMarket or BAT, so why would they not go that route? That's the question I'm asking myself, at least.

I kinda of like the interior. I’m into green , but the yellow is a no for me , I think with black exterior that interior with black stitch would pop.

Such a beautiful color and I love the two toned grey dash. I wish it had better oem options like an LSD and Litronics. I’ve been looking for a pts or low production colored 996 mkI to do a retro build with. This would really fit the bill but just lacking those other things.
colors I’ve considered are this, meridian metallic, teal, and others I haven’t seen to give me a retro feel. Plan is to do a aero kit with hounds tooth interior inserts with some other small details to give it that retro feels.
