A super high miles car for sale cheap - $10,995. But, appears to be in nice condition and nicely optioned. Buy it, and if you get 2 years out of it, then you come out ahead. Who knows, if you only put 5,000 or so miles per year on it you might get 4 or 5 years out of it and then pass it on in running condition for more than what you paid for it. You can always sell the carcass and not be hurt too bad if it gives up the ghost early.

Wow - I am surprised no one is interested in this car. It is still listed for sale. I would think a black/black 6 speed coupe with 83k miles that you could probably get for $12k would draw some interest. Even though I am saving my pennies for a turbo, this is actually a candidate to flip.

By the way, I don't know what's going on around here right now, but there are 8 996s up for sale on the Kansas City Craigslist at the moment. Normally there are one or two at a time, so at the moment it's "996-a-palooza" in the home of the defending American League Champion Royals. Since I am in search mode for a Turbo and having severe 996 withdrawal, I am happy to assist anyone interested in checking out a local car. Otherwise I'll be forced to spend time with the 928.
