Yeah, but literally the minute I buy it, the perfect Turbo will magically appear and for some stupid reason, wifey will not understand why I would need a 4th P-car in the garage. Pfft, women . . . can't live with 'em, not supposed to shoot 'em.

Asking price just got reduced on this one by $5,000 today. Getting tempting for me with that price drop, but I'm still thinking high mileage one for around $30k plus prefer guards red or speed yellow (although I really like the seal gray also). Anyhow, if someone is interested in it, I'd be happy to go check it out for you. That would give me an excuse to go test drive it - I don't want to waste the guy's time since it is out of my desired price range.

Either that or they are waiting for Johnny Irish type to come and take a look at it just to rob him of any cash on him and steal a nice Rolex in the process too. Those guys have moved on from iPhones and figured Porsche 993 potential buyers will have more loot on them.

That dyi mesh job.....and that spoiler kill it for me. Easily fixed, but enough on the market to keep this one on the long list.

Maybe it's the picture but it looks to dense to allow good airflow. Not a fan.

I predict you'll be kicking yourself more come October when your search continues and these beauties are long gone.

The add for the 993 is a scam
I have seen this add a couple of times when I first started looking for cars
I am pretty sure it was the same car listed in Wyoming and when I called and said I would come look the car the seller had some BS story about it not being there.

+1. If that looks more like "Hurdigurdi Kit #2" rather than "Gemballa".

Beware the Austin deal. The guy claims the car is well kept ,blah,,blah but also claims it has a 'Twin turbo v6' ! Yes a V6. Not such a knowledgeable Porschephile.

The 993 for $17500 is a typical craigslist "typo"...the sellers knows exactly what they are doing. Somebody should send this to the 993 forum and watch the heart attacks.

Yes Chinese fake.
Look again. It says "Ur a Gem Balla" according to Chinese spelling...

A "real" Gemballa kit for Porsche 996 turbo looks like this:
