I did a 3500 mile trip last year. It was great!

However, as others have mentioned, if nothing else you could fly out to see it for yourself, then have it shipped back. See how helpful we are?

Well, if you are thinking 996tt if you could get one in the mid- to high-$20k's, here's one to consider.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/262783931456...&ul_noapp=true

It has a salvage title and a color change, plus some body mods (although I think the Misha GT2 Add-On wing is a quality piece and the best looking wing mod for a 996tt). But, this car was up for sale earlier in 2016 with an incredibly long list of new and upgraded parts. Looks like the current owner bought it and did a bunch more maintenance: water pump, coils, plugs, oil & coolant change, MAF plus some.

You could probably pick it up for $28k. Salvage 996TTs with some issues remaining (engine hiccup or tranny probs) still bring $23k-$25k on the Copart insurance auction. So I think you could always bail and get your money back if you decided it wasn't for you.

Hmmmmm that's interesting. I like the blue but I've got an agreement on an 996 pending the PPI.

The TT in Phoenix is a bargain for the right person. It seems like it is a former Scott M's car. 500 whp, RWD, and manual- car is a monster. With slicks this is a low to mid 11 second car, maybe even high 10 with God behind the wheel.

If anyone needs me to drive a car they buy, PM me. I might be able to drive it for you. I am on sabbatical right now. Would be cool to try this while I am off.

Capt. obvious,

That's my buddy's old car I sold for him three years ago in the same condition. Well besides those replica 500 dollar seats. Three years and it still hasn't been fixed

This description made me laugh. Gotta give the seller points for creativity.

What's funny is that people that come up with those clever stories tend to sell the car easy. I've seen people make a story line on complete **** buckets for high prices and they sell. Blows my mind.
